Wind Up Torch, Radio and Charger
The ultimate universal wind up torch dynamo gadget - you cannot afford to be without.
Multifunction Wind Up torch with Mobile phone battery charger suitable for charging other portable devices which require up to 6V to charge. Add a scannable AM & FM radio and a personal alarm and you have the ultimate portable battery device. Probably the most feature packed dynamo torch and the most impressive wind up torch you may ever own.
3 Bright White LED's Are you going camping or on holiday. Take the wind up torch radio with you as it is ideal for those trips- you can listen to the radio, use the torch when you need... all in one great device.
The phone charger comes with an adaptor lead (but no phone charger adaptors)
There is a 6V output to the device so it covers most mobile phones and other suitable devices. (currently only standard nokia 3mm adaptor is included - may require suitable adaptor for your model of phone)
The AM /FM radio has a scanning dial and is activated via a volume dial at the end of the device. There is an extendable aerial to the side of the unit to improve reception, but we found it was able to pick up the AM signal very well even without extending the in-built antenna.
There is also a panic alarm switch, if you need to create some attention, use this to generate a siren sound.
130 RPM of charging for 1 minute gives a phone talktime charge of around 1.5 minutes. It is recommended to charge at consistent speed of 130 rpm for around 3 minutes to get a talk time of around 5 minutes. Radio would last around 20+ minutes)
This is a very useful multifunction wind up torch device, and is great for use in the car, home or when you are on your travels. Great design and feel, and the winding of the dynamo crank makes a satisfying whirring noise whilst charging the wind up torch internal lithium battery (and gives you a bit of a workout too!).
The video below is a very quick demo of the torch brightness (filmed under a light!!) and the radio.
